Flash flood warnings issued across western Pennsylvania

On Tuesday at 8:08 a.m. a flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Friday 5 a.m. until further notice for Choctaw, Clarke and Washington counties.
Before June, the weather service had issued special weather statements about high temperatures. Now they trigger heat advisories.

A flood advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 2:12 p.m. in effect until 5:15 p.m. for Greene, Hale, Marengo and Sumter counties.
