One of the best meteor showers of the year is almost here! The Perseids peak in mid-August, and should put on a decent show.

The first meteors from two showers — the Delta Aquariids and the Alpha Capricornids — began streaking across the sky on Sunday, July 13. The shows will get more intense during the second half of July, peaking on July 30.
