With jury selection expected to begin in less than six weeks, the judge handling Bryan Kohberger’s quadruple murder trial is again weighing a request to delay the proceedings.

"While the publicity surrounding this trial is a challenge, defendant has not shown - and cannot show - that continuing this trial will make things any easier," Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson wrote.

The horrific case is the focus of Prime Video’s upcoming four-episode docuseries, 'One Night in Idaho: The College Murders,' which premieres on July 11.
