Boston Public Market Finally Gets Its Own Bar

The Pine Bar signage pays homage to that of the defunct North End restaurant the European. The Pine Bar opens at Boston Public Market on June 16, leveling up the downtown destination to allow tourists and locals to sip New England beers and wines, as well as cocktails featuring local liquors, while browsing the market or relaxing on the patio outside.

From the Ashes of Del Posto, Al Coro Aims to be NYC’s Marquee Italian Restaurant

Al Coro opens in Chelsea on June 22. If you buy something from an Eater link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics policy. According to the New Age philosophy known as Human Design — a Gwyneth Paltrow-endorsed remix of the Myers-Briggs test that pulls from astrology, chakras, and the I Ching — Jeff Katz is a manifestor.

The first official joint portrait of Prince William and Kate has been unveiled

The first official joint portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been revealed to the public at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, England. The Duke and Duchess visited Cambridge on Thursday to see the 210 centimeter by 110 centimeter oil painting, crafted by British artist Jamie Coreth. The portrait shows the couple gazing into the distance, Prince William in a dark suit and blue tie and Kate wearing an emerald green dress from indie brand The Vampire's Wife, which the Duchess previously wore on a trip to Dublin in 2020.

Over the past several years, Gaffin, a second-generation operator with more than 30 years of experience behind the wheel, had been converting his lifetime love of trucking, and a decades long photographic curation of the business, into one of the largest followings on social media. His likes an views run into the tens of millions, driven largely by his huge Youtube collection showcasing his videography, itself showcasing OTR trucking principally.Still, Gaffin initially dismissed Rotella's proposal as a crank email. But after a phone call, it turned out the offer was legitimate. Gaffin, who still trucks full-time doing local work for A. Cardillo and Sons in Waltham, Massachusetts, has joined the Rotella SuperRigs team at select shows throughout the country ever since.I caught up with Gaffin at the Mid-America Trucking Show back in March. Take a listen:Also on the podcast: Another local hauler whose first love was OTR work -- and who, like Gaffin, well understands the pressures on, and the difficulties of, life back home for those over the road. Terry Shelton’s road to hauling in a dump truck in the region around Sevierville, Tennessee, flowed through his trucking family growing up farther east in Martinsville, Virginia, and a personal tragedy that befell his family when he was on the road and that, though long ago, haunts his time on-highway to this day.Oops, we couldn’t find that playlist.Privacy policyOverdrive Radio·Trucking businessDon’t Miss OutGet the business tips, industry insights and trending news every owner-operator needs to know in theOverdrivenewsletter.Sign UpBy providing your email, you agree to ourTerms of Use and Privacy Policy.
