FRISCO — Cowboys owner Jerry Jones took care of a big need on the offensive line by selecting 6-foot-7.5, 322-pound Oklahoma tackle Tyler Guyton in the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday night. Jones gave equal time to the defense in the second round Friday night by adding 6-foot-3, 267-pound Western Michigan defensive end Marshawn Kneeland.

What felt like a big emphasis for the team was to get tougher and nastier in their play style. The players drafted in the first three rounds felt that way, and it also carried over into the final day.

Dallas turned its trade back five spots in the first round on Thursday from 24 to 29 with the Detroit Lions into two new offensive linemen: Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton (29th) and Kansas State interior offensive lineman Cooper Beebe.
