After months of hype and hope, the Carolina Panthers proved they are still the worst team in the NFL by a good margin yesterday.

With the start of the NFL season, that means the return of NFL power rankings. Power Rankings often endeavor to endear a fan base with the author who hypes up their team or turns them into their biggest enemy.

It was a disaster from every angle. Young completed 50 percent of his passes and threw a pick on his first drive of the year. The defense let Saints quarterback Derek Carr throw three touchdowns. All in all New Orleans outgained the Panthers by more than 150 yards in the first two quarters.
