BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC) - Birmingham Police say a 16-year-old boy was arrested Sept. 12 for making a social media threat to carry out shooting at Carver and Parker High Schools. Police say the teenage boy is a student at Carver High School and he confessed to making online threats.

Authorities arrested a Marin County teen for allegedly threatening school violence, prompting the cancellation of classes for an entire school district Friday.On Friday morning, the Tamalpais Union High School District announced that classes were canceled at all their campuses due to the threats.
