An additional 24 monkeys believed to be among 43 that escaped a South Carolina research facility last week have been recovered, and eyes are on a "sizable group" nearby, police said Sunday.

The YPD says veterinarians have assessed the 25 recovered monkeys and all are in good health. Police say Alpha Genesis is committed to searching for the primates until all 43 are found.
