The mayor of New Jersey's gambling destination of Atlantic City and his wife pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small and his wife, La’Quetta Small will be formally arraigned today for various child abuse charges in an Atlantic County courtroom. La’Quetta Small is the current superintendent of the Atlantic City public school system.
