The White House said President Biden had no advance knowledge of the indictment of former President Trump and found out about it from news reports.

President Joe Biden has maintained his silence since former President Donald Trump was federally indicted in the alleged mishandling of classified documents probe. Trump called the indictment a "joke" and vowed to "evict a totally corrupt president" in 2024.
