Boeing Co. and its largest labor union are heading back to the bargaining table on Monday in a bid to end a three-week strike that’s shut down airplane manufacturing in Oregon and Washington.

Boeing's largest union said on Friday that contract talks will resume on Oct. 7, as both sides seek an agreement that would put an end to a strike by around 33,000 of the planemaker's U.S. West Coast factory workers.

This will be the third time Boeing and IAM District 751 have negotiated this since 33,000 machinists went on strike in September.
