WNBA season is officially underway, and opening weekend brought plenty of on-court action and off-court buzz. As the season picks up steam, fans are packing arenas nationwide and following every twist in what’s shaping up to be an exciting year.

White, a native of West Lebanon, Ind., was a standout at Purdue who began her WNBA career with the Fever and previously coached the franchise from 2015 through 2016. After winning a WNBA title in Indiana as an assistant in 2012, White now looks to lead the team to the promised land as a head coach.

If Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston can take the next steps in their careers, Indiana will receive a pivotal boost. Additionally, Kelsey Mitchell is a proven star who offers leadership for the team. The offseason additions only strengthen the roster.
