The National Weather Service has issued a slew of flood watches and warnings in southeastern Minnesota around Worthington and Owatonna, as well as in northeastern Minnesota, near Duluth.

Heavy rainfall has led to flash flooding in western Minnesota, leading to property damage and some residents being unable to leave their homes.

The National Weather Service said three to six inches of rain is causing flooding in portions of Minnesota and South Dakota.
