Frontier Airlines on Tuesday unveiled a free bag check promotion in a dig at Southwest, exactly one week after the rival budget carrier ended its own decades-old policy.

Frontier offering free checked bag just as Southwest Airlines ends signature deal The promotion is good for Frontier flights departing between May 28 and August 18.

The promotion applies for nonstop trips booked on Frontier’s website or app. For flights departing May 28 through Aug. 18, Frontier said it would include a free checked bag.
