The company is recalling 449,671 SUVs and pickup trucks due to a loss of brake fluid warning that doesn’t work properly, which could reduce the vehicle’s ability to brake and increase the risk of an accident, according to the National Highway Transportation Administration.

More than 150,000 Jeep hybrid models are being recalled because of malfunctioning batteries that catch fire. The recall includes Jeep Wranglers and Grand Cherokee plug-in models from 2022 to 2024.

Owners should not charge their plug-in-hybrid Jeeps and should park outside and away from buildings until the issue is fixed.
