Israel's defense minister has warned that 'Tehran will burn' if Iran continues firing missiles in retaliation for Israel's deadly assault on the neighboring country.

An Iranian lawmaker said closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint in the global energy trade, was under serious consideration.

"This confrontation will not end with last night's limited actions and Iran's strikes will continue, and this action will be very painful and regrettable for the aggressors," Fars reported, citing senior military officials.
