Two people were killed and another injured in Israeli drone strikes in southern Lebanon on Sunday, in the latest violation of a ceasefire agreement, the Health Ministry said. A statement by the ministry’s emergency operations center said an attack targeted a car in the town of Yater in Bint Jbeil district, killing one person and injuring another.

Israel's defence minister has claimed the military responded to stray gunfire from Lebanon, after Lebanese state media and the health ministry reported four deaths in Israeli strikes on the south.

A Lebanese citizen was martyred in an Israeli drone strike on the southern ton of Burj Al-Molouk, National News Agency reported. NNA’s correspondent in Marjeyoun reported that an enemy drone targeted a yellow Rapid Transit vehicle in the town of Burj Al-Molouk, with two people inside.

Lebanese official media said two people were wounded on Wednesday when Israeli drones attacked a vehicle in the south, a day after a deadly raid and despite an Israel-Laebanon ceasefire.

Israel said Tuesday it killed a senior Hezbollah militant responsible for drones and missiles, even as it freed Lebanese prisoners as a "goodwill" gesture to the country's new president.

Early Sunday morning, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) attacked and killed two terrorists from the terrorist organization Hezbollah who were observation operatives and were directing terrorist operations in the Yatar and Meiss El Jabal areas in southern Lebanon.
