A teenage boy is dead and a woman has life-threatening injuries after a shooting at a home in the northland. Kansas City, Missouri police say they received calls about a shooting on NE 119th Terrace near Tracy Ave. at around 1 a.m.

One teen is dead and one woman is fighting for her life after a family dispute led to a shooting early Sunday morning in north Kansas City.

Kansas City, Missouri, police believe a shooting that left one teenage male dead and an adult woman injured early Sunday morning was the result of domestic violence.

Before 8 a.m., officers responded to a crash near 75th Street and Flora Avenue, according to a statement from the Kansas City Police Department. Investigators then determined that a blue Mazda speeding down 75th Street crossed over the double yellow line and hit a silver Toyota Sienna minivan head-on.

A Kansas City crash left two people injured, one critically, and knocked out power for “several blocks,” police say. Just before 8 p.m., police responded to East 44th Street and Prospect Avenue. Investigators determined that a black Subaru Outback was traveling south on Prospect when it drove off the roadway and into a wooden pole,
