The leaders of Israel and Lebanon agreed to a 10-day ceasefire after officials from the two countries met in Washington, President Donald Trump said.

Fighting between Israel and Hezbollah continued on the ground in Lebanon as Israeli and Lebanese officials held further US-mediated talks in Washington.

As the two sides prepare to meet, Israel continues to intensify its attacks across Lebanon, despite the so-called ceasefire.
