The Indian Medical Association of Gujarat wrote a letter to the Chairman of Tata Sons, requesting to extend support to medical students injured and killed following the plane crash at the premises of the BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad.
Sources added that the students who had left the debilitated buildings have been provided other accommodations on the college campus itself
Following the crash, the Tata group, which owns Air India, announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore each for the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic plane crash.
