People began loading up their cars and jumping on planes across the U.S. on Thursday as the long Memorial Day weekend kicked off. Even as politics and the nation’s aging air traffic infrastructure rattle the U.

It's the unofficial start to summer with Memorial Day weekend, and that means many will have their boats out on the water.

It's hosted by Red Leg Brewing and raises money for Angels of America's Fallen, a nonprofit that covers the costs for after-school activities.
