Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand turned back a pair of challenges Sunday and played bogey-free over the final 27 holes at Liberty National, closing with a 3-under 69 for a four-shot victory.

Jeeno Thitikul opened the Mizuho Americas Open as the tournament’s leader last Thursday and ultimately turned in a score of 17-under par to win the whole thing. It makred the fifth career victory for Thitikul and in the process she set both the 54-hole (202) and 72-hole (271) scoring records for the Mizuho as she took down Nelly Korda’s marks from last season.

The final round of the Mizuho Americas Open was shaped up to be a shootout between the top two players in the world. In the end, world No. 1 Nelly Korda, the event's defending champion, didn't give Jeeno Thitikul much to worry about.
