President Donald Trump pardoned several people involved in efforts to contest the results of the 2020 election, including six so-called Republican fake electors in Nevada

In Nevada the alleged “fake votes” were sent to the National Archive back in Washington. Attorney for Michael McDonald, Richard Wright asked for a speedy trial for his client. Judge Russell said the case, which could take up to eight days, could be accommodated starting July 7, of 2026. All parties agreed to that date.
