Tormod Frostad of Norway won the gold medal in big air freeskiing at the Milan Cortina Olympics, beating Mac Forehand of the United States on the last jump of a high-scoring final Tuesday night.

With the best two scores out of three jumps deciding the winner, Frostad managed a near-perfect 195.5 out of a maximum 200. Forehand posted 193.25.
