An Ohio man was arrested just after receiving his 20th OVI citation while driving under the influence earlier this month.

Dublin police arrested Ohio State women's basketball coach Kevin McGuff for OVI on May 6 following a report of reckless driving.

This is the fourth fatal officer-involved shooting in our area in the past six weeks. A Lockland police officer shot and killed a man on March 19 after he fled in a stolen car on I-75. On April 1, OSP shot and killed a woman who was traveling the wrong way on I-275 in Clermont County.

The suspect was charged with endangering children and is currently being held at the Franklin County Corrections Center.

The officer arrested the 55-year-old female driver – and then the encounter took an unexpected turn, police said. Upon returning to the vehicle, the officer found a pet raccoon, named “Chewy,” sitting in the driver’s seat with a glass meth pipe in its mouth. The moment was captured on the officer’s body cam.

A Ohio woman with an active warrant and suspended license was arrested after police found her pet raccoon with a meth pipe during a traffic stop.

Three teenagers and a 12-year-old have been arrested in connection with a robbery that left an Ohio man dead, police said. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at about 4 a.m. April 28 in a residential area of eastern Columbus, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said in a May 7 news release.
