Prince Harry choked up in court as he concluded an eight-hour testimony in his lawsuit against a major British newspaper publisher, admitting he would feel an “injustice” if his claims of phone hacking were dismissed by the judge.

Harry’s testimony was part of the lawsuit that he and three other plaintiffs have brought against three Mirror titles. The newspaper group has denied wrongdoing.

Prince Harry entered the courtroom on a mission to prove the publisher of the Daily Mirror tabloid hacked his phone and unlawfully snooped.

Prince Harry arrived at the High Court of the Royal Courts of Justice in London on Wednesday to continue his testimony in his case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN). The Duke of Sussex began his testimony when he appeared.

Prince Harry was back on the witness stand Wednesday for his second day of testimony in a civil suit against the British Mirror Group Newspapers, accusing them of tracking the car of an ex-girlfriend.

Though Harry’s phone hacking case against the British press is bringing us back to the royal’s school days, there is plenty of reason to believe that addressing decade-old loose ends can make change today.

The prince summed up his time on the stand over the last day and a half, the first time a senior royal has testified in court since the 1890s, by saying, “it’s a lot.” After he left the witness box, he stayed in court to hear other witnesses testimony.
