KYIV, Dec 6 - A large-scale Russian drone and missile attack damaged power facilities in eight Ukrainian regions, causing blackouts and forcing nuclear power plants to cut power output, officials and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Saturday.
A major Russian drone and missile attack struck a railway hub near Kyiv overnight, damaging a depot and train carriages and forcing cancellations across the region, according to Ukraine’s state railway operator.
Russian drone and missile attacks hit energy infrastructure in eight Ukrainian regions overnight, causing blackouts, Ukraine’s energy ministry said on Saturday.
"The enemy attack on Kyiv is ongoing," Kyiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said in a post to Telegram early Tuesday local time.
