Ukraine’s air force says Russia launched a record 728 Shahed and decoy drones, along with 13 missiles, in a massive overnight aerial attack—its most extensive yet in the over three-year war.

Kyiv: Russia fired a record 728 Shahed and decoy drones at Ukraine overnight, as well as 13 cruise and ballistic missiles, the Ukrainian air force said Wednesday, in the latest escalation after weeks of mounting Russian aerial and ground attacks in the more than three-year war.

Kyiv: Russia carried out its largest-ever aerial assault on Ukraine last night using drones and missiles, during which a Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet was also destroyed while attempting to intercept the attack.
