In total, Russia launched 75 Iranian-made Shahed drones against Ukraine, of which 74 were destroyed by air defences, Ukraine's air force said.

Ukraine reported considerable success against Russia's most intense drone onslaught of the war, but there are fears of much more to come.

Ukraine has targeted Moscow with a major drone assault overnight, after Russia unleashed its most significant aerial attack on Kyiv in months. Russia claimed at least 20 drones were shot down as they made their way to Moscow. Whether any buildings in the Russian capital sustained damage remains unclear.

In total, Russia launched around 75 Iranian-made Shahed drones against Ukraine, of which 71 were destroyed by air defense, Ukraine’s armed forces said.

It did not say what happened to the two drones that were not destroyed. It comes as the Institute for the Study of War said bad weather conditions have slowed the pace of combat “across the entire frontline but have not completely halted them”.
