Russia and Ukraine traded blame on Friday over an attack on a gas metering station that lies in Russia’s Kursk region, just a few hundred meters from their shared border.

Russia launched air strikes overnight on Kyiv, with air defence systems engaged in repelling the attack, Ukrainian authorities said late on Monday.

KIEV -- Russian forces launched a drone and missile attack on Ukraine overnight Wednesday, damaging energy and infrastructure facilities, Ukrainian authorities reported. In its statement, the Ukrainian Air Force said the attack involved two Iskander-M missiles, four S-300 guided missiles, and 145 combat and imitation drones.
