Ukraine and Russia exchanged aerial attacks overnight, just hours after the Kremlin agreed to temporarily halt attacks on energy infrastructure targets, but stopped short of signing off on a broader ceasefire.

KIEV -- Russian forces launched a drone and missile attack on Ukraine overnight Wednesday, damaging energy and infrastructure facilities, Ukrainian authorities reported. In its statement, the Ukrainian Air Force said the attack involved two Iskander-M missiles, four S-300 guided missiles, and 145 combat and imitation drones.
