The lawyer whose defense team won acquittal for Sean “Diddy” Combs on life-sentence-eligible charges says the music mogul was greeted by a standing ovation from fellow prisoners when he returned to jail after the verdict.

The partial verdict in the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial came on the second day of deliberations. The jury will return to deliberate on the final count Wednesday.

A federal judge on Tuesday said Sean "Diddy" Combs will be sentenced on October 3 after the music mogul was convicted on charges of transporting prostitutes to engage in drug-fueled sexual performances.
