NEW YORK – The trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs is over, as jurors delivered a split verdict for the one-time media and music titan. Combs was acquitted on the top charges of racketeering and sex trafficking in his sex-crimes trial on July 2, but convicted on two counts of the lesser charge of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs was found guilty of prostitution-related offenses but cleared of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He still faces dozens of civil lawsuits accusing him of abuse.

The lawyer whose defense team won acquittal for Sean “Diddy” Combs on life-sentence-eligible charges says the music mogul was greeted by a standing ovation from fellow prisoners when he returned to jail after the verdict.
