Severe storm warnings are cropping up all around San Antonio-area towns as a system sweeps in from South Texas.

Strong thunderstorms, some that could produce large hail, will be possible this Memorial Day weekend, especially Sunday and Monday.

On Thursday, Jonathan says there will be ongoing storms in northeastern Oklahoma around 7 a.m. Those storms will cause a chain reaction of storms to develop in central and east-central Oklahoma near Stillwater, Henryetta, Seminole, Ada and Pauls Valley by 10:30 a.m.

A dangerous tornado threat is unfolding today, as severe storms target major cities like Tulsa, Wichita, Kansas City, Omaha, Little Rock and Dallas, bringing the risk of damaging winds, large hail and strong tornadoes.

Storm systems sweeping across parts of the Midwest and South have left at least 21 dead, many of them in Kentucky, where what appeared to be a devastating tornado crumbled buildings.
