The Fiat CEO said the brand has plans to introduce an upgraded and more affordable version of the 500 EV in 2027.
The hybrid 500e will be based on the same platform as the 500e EV, while Fiat is phasing out the old version of the 500, both petrol-powered and hybrid, which was assembled in Poland.
Stellantis’ commitment to investing in a high-performance battery and introducing a hybrid version of the Fiat 500e by 2026 indicates its strategy to adapt to these market challenges.
