Detroit's 'No Kings' protest will take place this Saturday, coinciding with Flag Day and a massive military parade in Washington, D.C. to honor the 250th birthday of the Army and the 79th birthday of President Donald Trump.

Protesters rallied outside a Detroit CBP office to denounce mass deportations and Trump’s policies, echoing ongoing demonstrations in Los Angeles.

President Donald Trump has banned travel to the U.S. by citizens of 12 countries and restricted access for those from seven others, citing national security concerns in resurrecting and expanding a hallmark policy from his first term that will mostly affect people from Africa and the Middle East.
