Nearly 200 countries spent a week locked in negotiations in Busan, South Korea , from November 25 with the goal of agreeing the first global treaty to curb plastic pollution.
The UN environment chief said that 200 countries who attended a week of talks to negotiate a landmark plastic treaty to curb pollution made "very good progress" despite falling to sign an agreement.
