Russian forces launched a massive attack on the energy infrastructure in two Ukrainian regions on the night of March 15, causing significant damage to energy facilities, according to DTEK (Ukraine's largest private energy company).

The bombardment came just days after the United States said it was suspending intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

The U.S. government says it halted Ukrainian access to a program that shares unclassified satellite images with American officials and their international partners.
