A West Virginia State University football player was sadly killed in a shooting earlier this week. North Carolina native Jyilek Harrington was shot multiple times following an incident at an apartment complex.

The victim of the fatal shooting was identified by police as 21-year-old Jyilek Harrington, a linebacker at West Virginia State University.
