Per Reuters, 75 staffers from the studio behind Toy Story and Monsters Inc. were let go in late May, and were Pixar’s first job cuts in decade after the underperformance of 2013's The Good Dinosaur. These cuts come after numerous box office disappointments in the last several years.

Walt Disney’s Pixar Animation Studios cut 75 positions last week, including two executives who worked on the financial disappointment “Lightyear,” Reuters reported Saturday. Angus MacLane, director of the “Toy Story” spinoff and a 26-year animation veteran, and Gayln Susman, producer on the film, were among those removed from their roles.

Pixar Animation Studios, a studio owned by the Walt Disney Company, has laid off 75 of its employees, two of whom were with the studio for over 25 years.
