Whether it's casual weekend trail rides or hitting the jump lines, the Ibis Ripley is an excellent option for riders looking for a durable and lightweight trail bike on a budget. With 120mm of DW-Link suspension, a beefy aluminum frame, and dual 29-inch wheels, the Ripley is a blast to ride on the trails. A 65. 5-degree head tube angle gives us more capability when riding steeper and rougher trails and is tame enough to excel on flatter terrain and keep sight of its precise handling. A 76-degree seat tube angle puts us in an efficient climbing position, and the short stack height and short seat tube let us run a longer stroke dropper post so all-sized riders can get the same great fit. The Ripley features short 432mm chainstays, making for an ultra-playful and poppy bike, and the short to medium-sized wheelbases give us the perfect balance of stability and maneuverability. The Ripley features integrated downtube and chainstay protectors to protect our frame from rock strikes and chain slaps, and a revised swingarm on the rear of the bike gives us a wider 55mm chain line for enhanced stiffness. Lastly, the frame received a Universal Derailleur Hanger to future-proof our frame. Whether we are cruising the singletrack or ripping more technical lines, the Ibis Ripley is always a solid choice. The SLX build of the Ibis Ripley is the highest build this bike has and is littered with reliable components that excel on the trail. First, Ibis's aluminum frame is bombproof to maximize our shred capability. Next, the 12-speed Shimano SLX drivetrain gives us a huge gear range for technical climbs and is known for its precision and trustworthiness at a low price point. Fox Performance suspension steps this build up, giving us a reliable Float 34 Performance 130mm fork for bombing down technical descents and a lightweight DPS Performance rear shock with a compression switch for efficient climbing. Shimano SLX 2-piston brakes throw down great modulation and braking power in a lig...
