Concord Grape's fruit clusters have deep purple color and vigorous, hardy growth. Pleasingly decorative and easy to cultivate. Harvest Concord Grapes in early fall and enjoy processed as a tasty jam or juice. To encourage development of strong canes, remove all flower clusters produced in the first year. In the second year, remove all but 4 of the best side canes to form a double T. Select a good, pencil-size fruiting cane on each of 4-arms and trim back to 8 to 10 buds. Place in full sun for 6 or more hours per day for ideal growth. Concord Grape ships established in its own container. Grows best in well-drained, humus-enriched soil. Blooms in may, harvest in late summer to fall. Reaches standard mature height of 8 ft. to 10 ft. Space plants approximately 6 ft. to 7 ft. apart for best results. Hardy in USDA zones 5 to 9. Each offer includes one plant grown in a 1.50 Gal. pot. Due to state restrictions, we can't ship to customers in the states of AZ CA ID MT NV NY OR UT, or WA.
