You can't go wrong with purple pixie as it can be planted in container gardens, window boxes, and even hanging baskets. When planting this loropetalum, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil.
