h5(margin-top-md). %{color:black}Also called% Fuyugaki persimmon The most widely grown persimmon tree. Bears young and yields large crops. The name translates to "winter persimmon". Slightly drooping branches provide an elegant look in the landscape. Deep-orange fruit is medium-sized and oblate in shape, with a consistently sweet taste. Stays firm even when ripe. Keeps well for several weeks. Non-astringent. Seedless. Heat-tolerant. Ripens in September. Grafted. Self-pollinating. Note: Our persimmon trees are grown in EZ Start® pots, which allow the roots to self-air prune and redirect energy to producing a dense mass of feeder roots. The main tap root will begin forming once planted in its permanent location, and will fully develop over the next 2-3 years.
