Description

Highlighted by its linear arrangement, the Ambit Rail Lamp from Muuto iterates on the classic lampshade with its handmade contemporary construction. With the piece, designers Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Stahlbom of Stockholms TAF Studio strived for a lampshade that was welcoming and recognizable, built with a keen attention to detail. Its shades are handspun in aluminum then painted and polished by hand as well. Evenly spaced along a tubular rail, the lamps produce a clean downlight that neatly ties kitchens areas together when suspended over long dining tables and counters. Color: Grey.
