USDA Growing Zones 5-11 4 Feet Tall 4 Feet Wide Full Sun Everything about Coral Knock Out Rose is special. As part of the Knock Out Rose family, it blooms repeatedly from spring through fall frost for all-season color. And what a color awaits the gardener who plants Coral Knock Out Rose! The new blooms start out a brick-orange and change to pretty coral by the time they open. Coral is one of the softest and most elegant flower colors, not as bright as orange and not as common as pink. Coral Knock Out Rose foliage puts on a little show of its own in spring. New leaf growth emerges as a bronze red before turning a matte green. It is bred to resist leaf spot and powdery mildew diseases and to tolerate heat. The gorgeous rose grows to just over 4 feet high and wide in a bushy habit. Use Coral Knock Out Roses as stand-alone colorful plants or to form a colorful coral hedge. Grow these roses easily in zones 5 through 11. Coral Knock Out Rose Care Place Coral Knock Out Rose in full sun (at least 6 hours of sun a day). It needs fairly loose and fertile soil that drains well. Dig a hole a little larger than the rose's container. Loosen the soil at the bottom and place the rose plant on top of the soil so its base is level with the ground. You can mulch around your rose plant to help keep the roots moist. Water deeply and regularly in its first few weeks, then just water with other roses. Fertilize after the first wave of flowers, but not in high heat. Coral Knock Out Rose Spacing For a Coral Knock Out Rose hedge or shrub, place the roses about 4 to 5 feet apart from their centers to give each room to grow.
