This boxwood is covered with hardy, green foliage that becomes darker as the Wintergreen Boxwood ages. The leaves of the Wintergreen are fairly small and delicate. They have both a smooth look and feel to them as well. When other Boxwood shrubs turn yellow and lose their color in the dreadful winter months, the Wintergreen is still vibrant and green.
