Precisely set the perfect frying temperature from 250°F to 375° F with the temperature dial. The green ready light comes on when the oil has preheated. Just fill the basket with food without overcrowding it, lower the basket into the oil, and cover with the lid. The lid helps to prevent messy splatters during cooking. When food is finished frying, hook the basket over the oil tank to easily drain excess oil from food without making a mess. For easy cleanup, the enamel-coated oil tank has an easy-pour spout for pouring out the oil to recycle or discard. Then the oil tank, cooking basket and lid go straight in the dishwasher.
