The element control housing includes a spring-loaded support rod to secure the element when it's raised, and a positive-off thermostat allows for easy heat control. The fry pot itself is removable for easy cleaning, and in the event of element overheating, a manual reset safety thermostat will shut off the power to keep the operator safe.
