Description
This fully fashioned sweater is wonderful for the summer as it is light and airy. The bell shaped body and set in sleeves provide an easy, flattering shape for every body type. With three sizes and three sleeve choices, one will be right for you! In addition to the three sizes, I did an experiment using the directions for the largest size done on Tension 10 and it gave me a large enough sweater to accommodate a bust of 52". Although written for the bulky machine, you might be able to make this using EON on your standard gauge machine if you use lace weight yarn. We'll be learning to use the "automatic wrap" method of knitting the short rows to get the bell shape and we will be using hand transferring of stitches to get the pyramid details. This is great over a bathing suit or tank/tube/bra top and jeans. You can knit more rows in the body to make it a great dress or you can use a heavier/warmer yarn (like a lace weight mohair or alpaca) and make one for the fall/winter season too! A truly great addition to any wardrobe. I updated this pattern in May 2015 to clarify some of the directions.
